NEW SHOW SCHEDULED! Just announced, Sledd has been asked to play again with Rock Guitar Legend Gary Hoey on Saturday, June 23rd at 8pm at Brick by Brick in San Diego (1130 Buenos Ave. SD 619.275.TIXS). Make your plans early to attend by emailing us back and reserving your seats early as this show should fill up quick. Advanced Tickets are only $13, or $15 the day of the show! We will do the 2-for-20 option again for those of you loyal fans.
EAST COUNTY THROWDOWN! Rock 105.3 and Cricket Wireless are looking for a local San Diego area unsigned band to battle against ten other bands starting July 6th, 2007 for the chance to be the one and only opening act for "Godsmack" on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at Viejas Concerts in the Park. What a perfect match that would be; SLEDD and Godsmack! Starting July 6th, each of the ten finalist bands will be voted on by the fans calling Rock 105.3 and pumping up their favorite act. This would be a huge launching point for the boys, so make sure and listen to Rock 105.3 in the next few weeks and stuff the ballots. In fact, call Rock 105.3 and bug them to play Sledd on air. The “Loud and Local Show” (Sunday Nights 8pm-11pm) needs your fan input too. We are always looking for your input as well, so if you have any questions, drop us an email at sleddmusic@yahoo.com.

This past weekend, Sledd made a special guest appearance with Nemesis at the Second Wind Bar in Santee. To see photos of the show, visit the GALLERY. Nemesis, whose members include Pete and Dino from Sledd, play classic rock and dance music on a regular basis at the Second Wind Bars (Santee & Navajo), Dirks (Lemon Grove) and Game Time Tavern (Poway).

Sledd's long awaited return to the San Diego music scene had loyal fans packing the house on March 12, at Brick By Brick. The band introduced the two new members of the group - Steve Mumma (formally of Tantrum, Pure Flow and 619) on bass guitar and Eric Meyer (also playing with Brickbath) on lead guitar. Original members include Cary Rothman (lead vocals), Pete DeLuke (keyboards/vocals) and Dino DeLuke (drums).
Sledd would like to thank everyone who came out to the show and especially the Peckerwoods for providing the t-shirts! Please visit the GALLERY to see photos and movies from the show.
Sledd's last public performance was in May 2003 at "The Pound" in San Francisco, when they opened up for Gilby Clark, Slash and the Bulletboys.
